Return of the Premier League
On Wednesday night after 3 months away the Premier League resumes it's 2019-2020 season. After the cancellations of the Scottish, French and Dutch leagues, questions were being asked about whether the big leagues in Europe like La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A and the Premier League would play the rest of the season. Well at the beginning of the month they announced their decision. The first matches that took place on Wednesday night were Aston Villa vs Sheffield United and Manchester City vs Arsenal. The reason why the Premier League started with those matches was that Villa and City were playing in the Carabao Cup Final and had a game in hand, so they decided to play them first so that everyone was back to the same number of games to play in the season. Before kickoff for both games and for the next round of games, there will be a minute of silence for all of the people that have died during the Covid-19 Pandemic and take a knee for the Black Lives Matter.
